HOW TO CLEAN RATTAN FURNITURE

If you have some furniture in the home, surely you have to take care and clean it regularly. It's either every month or even every years. If you have furniture made from rattan, such as chairs, table, etc. Many gaps that exist in the rattan furniture make it more difficult to clean. There are different ways to clean it.

Before you start to clean it, make sure you know the type of furniture that will be cleaned, whether it's original or synthetic rattan. Usually synthetic materials are more durable, while the original requires a protective layer to be more durable. So, more careful if cleaning the original materials.

They are several ways:

1. Get rid of the dust with a vacuum cleaner

This step must be done before washing the rattan furniture, or do every week if you don't wash it off. Avoid pressing too hard.

2. Use a used tootbrush

Do this way to clean the areas that cannot reached with vacuum cleaner.

 3. Clean with detergent and water

Sprinkle detergent or apply on rattan, then spray with water. We recommend doing on a though difficult stain removed only.

4. Drying under the sun

Make sure this way performed after doing the step number 3, to avoid damage to the rattan.

- MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard)

MDF is made by fine wooden powder with pressed under high pressure. MDF is processed wood isn't waterproof.

- Particle wood

Particle wood is made from residual wood waste such as sawdust, wood chips and chemicals are glued and pressed under high pressure. Weakness isn't waterproof, but the price cheapest than other and lightest.
